I had an idea for a Multiplicity shot for my 365, but it required that the weather hold out. I come out of my first class and…rain. Damn. So I decide to take a multiplicity shot inside. I grab my camera and tripod and go to the kitchen in my apartment and look for inspiration. I see a large knife on the counter. Jackpot. A few frames and some photoshop work later I had my shot. The cutout could be better but it is good enough for a 2nd try at multiplicity. Tomorrow I’m going to try and get my photo 100 assignment out of the way, texture or pattern.

I have always wanted to try my hand at a multiplicity shot but I never got around to it, mostly because new things in Photoshop tend to scare me. But I had no idea what to do for my 365 picture today so I decided to give it a shot. I set up my camera on my crappy tripod in the living room of my apartment and took three pictures of myself. I then took these images, loaded them into Photoshop as separate layers and then combined them. The end result is below. There are some shadow issues but for my first try it isn’t that bad.
